We recently celebrated our 40th Anniversary at the Cleveland Renaissance Hotel on Friday, September 8th, 2023, with an event called “Fiesta of Hope.”
WKYC’s Russ Mitchell (pictured at right) was the emcee of the event, and in addition to music, and a keynote speech by Melody Gonzales (Executive Director of the White House Hispanic Initiative,) Hispanic Cleveland Scholarship Recipients and their families gave speeches of their experiences.
More than $100,000 in scholarships were awarded to Northeast Ohio Latino/Hispanic college students, including a generous donation from WKYC Studios.
WKYC TV of Cleveland also aired a short segment on their news programs about our event, which we proudly feature below, and we’d like to thank all who attended for their ongoing support for our organization.
