Zulayka Ruiz, Director of Programs at Esperanza, Inc., was named Jif Diff Maker of the Game on Friday March 29th, 2024 at the “Noche Latina” (Latin Night) Cleveland Cavaliers vs Philadelphia 76ers game, at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, for all of her amazing work with the Hispanic community throughout the years.

The Jif Diff Maker of the Game is an award given by the Cleveland Cavaliers to honor organizations that improve the lives of young people. This award is made possible not only through the Cavaliers, but Jif® Peanut Butter, a household name in food, that’s been around since 1958!

This award was given to Zulayka for her tireless work actively cultivating collaborations and partnerships with schools, community organizations, and universities to facilitate programs that benefit the Hispanic community.

In addition, Zulayka was recognized for several other youth programs for Hispanic Students, which include the Hispanic Youth Leadership Program and the STEAM Summer Camp, along with the Annual Back-to-School event, which is coming up again this August.
