We are excited to share a few more highlights from our unforgettable 16th Annual Back-to-School Celebration!

This year’s celebration was filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful support, providing students and families with the tools they need to start the school year strong. From bookbags to resources and of course plenty of smiles, the day once again showcased the power of community working together.

Kicking Off the School Year with EYLP
The Esperanza Youth Leadership Program (EYLP) team was excited to kick off the new school year by sharing resources with families at Denison Elementary and Buhrer Dual Language Academy during their parent orientations!
Our youth leadership programs continue to play an active role in schools like Denison, Buhrer, and Natividad Pagan Newcomers Academy, just to name a few. These efforts ensure students and families have the support they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Esperanza’s long-standing partnership with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District continues to grow stronger, helping us create brighter opportunities for students, foster stronger connections with families, and build a community rooted in educational success.
Esperanza at Noche Latina
We were honored to take part in the Cleveland Guardians’ Noche Latina celebration, an annual event that shines a spotlight on Hispanic heritage, culture, and community. The evening was filled with music, food, and recognition of organizations making an impact across Greater Cleveland.
Esperanza also joined the evening’s resource fair, sharing information alongside other community organizations and connecting with families in attendance.
A very special moment came when our President & CEO, Margaret D. Sanchez, proudly delivered the official game ball to the pitcher’s mound, representing Esperanza and the families we serve!
