Calling All Latino Leaders!

You are invited to a special conversation with Dr. Warren G. Morgan,

CEO of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

This exclusive event will bring Latino leaders together to learn about and discuss CMSD’s Building Brighter Futures initiative, a long-term plan to modernize school facilities and improve learning environments for all students.

Dr. Morgan will share the latest updates and key insights, followed by an open dialogue about what this plan means for your children, families, and communities.

Empowering Our Community Through Digital Literacy

We are honored to have been featured by FUEGO Cleveland 1300AM for our efforts in closing the digital divide through our Adult Digital Literacy Program, in collaboration with Senior Planet from AARP.

This initiative, held at our Tri-C Access Center with support from AT&T, is more than just classes, it’s a lifeline: from learning how to use smartphones and email to accessing telehealth services and government forms, our students are gaining the confidence and skills they need to thrive in a technology-driven world.

A very special thank you to Maribel Jiménez-Martoral from our team for so beautifully representing Esperanza, Inc. during the interview. Her passion and dedication to our adult learners shines through in every class.

STEAM Camp Gets Hands-On with H₂O

A huge THANK YOU to the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District for stopping by our STEAM Summer Camp! With their help, our amazing Youth Leadership Coordinators Coral & Johnny, and alongside our President & CEO, Margaret D. Sanchez, our campers had a blast learning all about:

💦 How rainwater flows through our city 🌧️

🧫 Testing pH levels in water like real scientists

🚽 What happens after we flush (yes, really!)

🌿 How to keep our lakes and rivers clean

Intern Spotlight: Oliver Posner Joins Esperanza!

Please join us in welcoming Oliver Posner to Esperanza! He is joining us through the Cleveland Foundation Summer Internship Program and will be working alongside our Post-Secondary team.

Originally from Cleveland Heights, Oliver is a rising junior at the University of California, Berkley, where he studies Political Economy. This summer he will be be supporting our efforts to prepare for the upcoming academic year, evaluate student feedback, and help plan meaningful events for our scholars.
