Esperanza Students attend the UnidosUS Conference in Chicago

August 24, 2023

Last month, our students attended the UnidosUS Conference in Chicago, and presented a STEM based project they worked on over the summer and won 2nd place!

The event was held on Saturday, July 22 to Monday, July 24, at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, and centered on three days of collaboration, innovation, and thought leadership.

UnidosUS President and CEO Janet Murguía delivered her President’s Message during the National Affiliate Luncheon, and Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris delivered keynote remarks.

UnidosUS is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that serves as the nation’s largest Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization. Since their founding in 1968, they have contributed to a stronger America by elevating the voice of Latinos, and defending and advancing our community’s concerns.
